maybe i read this wrong, but "You can create a separate signature for each address you have set up, and up to four signatures for each address."
i have two accounts (send mail as) in gmail using one google account (ex: me@gmail.com, me@mywork.com both end up in my me@gmail.com).
i created the signature with me@mywork.com selected, saved the signature, and it inserts itself .... into both of my email accounts. if i compose a message with me@gmail.com, the signature for me@mywork.com gets inserted. if i delete the signature from me@gmail.com, it is also deleted from me@mywork.com.
i gotta be doing something wrong - any light to shed?

You're not doing anything wrong, but it definitely shouldn't behave that way. First, can you tell me what version you are using? I have tested this myself in version 1.11 and am unable to re-produce the problem you are experiencing. One way to help troubleshoot this is to verify that when yu press "Delete Signature", it asks you to confirm deletion of the right address. If it says "Are you sure you want to delete this signature for me@gmail.com" when you think you're deleting the signature for "me@elsewhere.com" then there's a selector change issue. If not, then I'll have to give you some custom code to run to troubleshoot the issue and get it fixed for you.
